We invite photographers of all ages, abilities, and interests to spend some time exploring Mississippi's outdoor areas, interpreting the rivers, forest, flowers or fauna through your camera lens. Photos must be taken between January 1 and July 1 of 2019 and must be submitted digitally, through an entry form online. Submitting photos is free, so there is nothing to lose!
A 3-judge panel will review the submitted photographs and judge each entry on technical quality, originality, and artistic merit. The panel will consist of John Fitzhugh, Sonny Weeks, and Bill Colgin.
Up to 30 photos will be invited to exhibit during the 2019 Mississippi Nature Photography Exhibit at the Moss Point Fine Art Gallery.
How to Submit Photos
Up to 5 photos may be submitted by each person. Submit photos by completing this form here and attaching photos within the form.
The entry fee has been waived for 2019, but we are asking for donations of $10 to supplement the cost of refreshments and beverages at the Opening Reception, payable to the Pascagoula River Audubon Center. Registration is not complete until the entry form and digital submission of photographs are submitted through the online form.
Donations can be sent to:
