A Year with Judy Toups "A Birders Blog"
Judy Toups (1930-2007) was considered the "Mother of Birding" on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and wrote a weekly column in the local newspaper for over 30 years. Rather than let her words remain in the archives, libraries and private collections - never to be in the public eye again - a group of her friends has gathered all of her articles and edited them, choosing 52 of their favorites. The plan is to post these on a weekly basis (accompanied with photos from Sharon Milligan) over the course of the next year with each article relevant to that particular week.
